The Sydney Swans will look to record their fourth consecutive victory when they host Collingwood in a curtain raiser at the SCG on Saturday afternoon, with coach Jeremy Laidler naming a strong 26-man squad.
Lewis Melican has been ruled out after sustaining a hamstring injury last week against North Melbourne, while club stalwart Josh Kennedy is also sidelined following his respective hamstring strain. The Swans veteran also announced his retirement at season's end on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the side will boast an array of AFL experienced players in Joel Amartey, Harry Cunningham, Sam Wicks, and more, while also featuring plenty of young talent including draftees Angus Sheldrick, Lachlan Rankin, and Matt Roberts.
Peter Ladhams (28 disposals, seven marks, 17 hit-outs), Wicks (28 disposals, three goals, six tackles) and James Bell (27 disposals, two goals, six tackles) will be looking to continue their blistering form after leading the Swans to a 13.17.(95) to 11.9.(75) victory in Round 20.
They currently sit fourth on the competition ladder, with a pursuit for a home final in sight as they sit just one win behind Brisbane Lions (third) and Southport Sharks (second).
If you're heading to the SCG this weekend, make sure you get there early to throw your support behind the VFL team with first bounce at 11:35am.
