Franklin, Kennedy finish in top-five of Brownlow
Lance Franklin and Josh Kennedy have finished in the top-five of Monday's Brownlow Medal count
Priddis took home the Brownlow with a final vote tally of 26, from ineligible Fremantle Docker Nat Fyfe (25 votes), with Franklin and Gold Coast’s Gary Ablett the next best finishers on 22 votes.
Kennedy finished in the next group of vote-gettters, alongside Port Adelaide’s Travis Boak, Adelaide’s Patrick Dangerfield and Geelong’s Joel Selwood, on 21 votes.
Franklin recorded the highest ever vote count for a Coleman medalist, beating the previous mark of 20 votes that he previously held in 2008 and 2011, alongside Tony Lockett in 1987.
Midfield trio Ben McGlynn, Luke Parker (both 12 votes) and Dan Hannebery (11) were the other Swans players to register double-figure vote tallies, with the club finishing with the highest tally across the AFL with a combined 96 votes.
