Ahead of the Swans Round 9 game against Fremantle at Henson Park on Saturday get the latest on the AFLW injury list with AFLW Head Physiotherapist Brooke Cranney.

Round 8 wrap

Ella Heads - right knee injury. 
Ella will undergo a fitness test this week to establish her availability for Round 9. She has responded well to treatment and we are confident she will go well.

Aleisha Newman - right ankle inflammation. 
She has improved significantly in the initial 48 hours after the game. She will also undergo a fitness test this week to establish her availability for Round 9.

Injury list

Aimee Wheelan - fractured right collarbone. Aimee sustained this injury during training several weeks ago. She was reviewed by the orthopaedic surgeon and pleasingly she has not had to undergo any surgery. Unfortunately though, she will not be available for the rest of the season. She has already commenced her rehabilitation and is looking forward to getting right for the 2023 season.
