Today the AFL has revealed the full fixture for the upcoming 2023 Smithy's VFL fixture. The fixture release includes the full schedule for Rounds 1-14 along with match ups and venues for the remaining eight rounds.
The competition will commence on the weekend of 24-26 March and coincide with Round 2 of the AFL season. The Sydney Swans will face the Box Hill Hawks on home territory, at Lakeside Oval in Moore Park, on Sunday 26 March before the senior side plays Hawthorn from 1:10pm at the SCG.
The Swans VFL squad will play their first away game in South East Melbourne where they will come up against Casey Demons on Sunday, 2 April at 11:05am for Round 2 before returning to Moore Park in Round 4 (following a bye) to host North Melbourne on Saturday, 15 April.
All matches in the 2023 Smithy’s VFL season will be live streamed free via the AFL website and AFL Live Official App. Smithy’s VFL broadcast partner, the Seven Network, will continue to show one weekly game live and free on 7Plus nationally.
Live scoring and stats will be available via both the AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
The Swans VFL side enjoyed a strong 2022 season and finished fourth on the ladder.
