We’re excited to announce we’re joining forces with carsales which will become the Official Auto Marketplace of the Sydney Swans.
The partnership builds on carsales’ history of high-profile sporting sponsorships and is an expansion in the company’s commitment to Australia’s key sporting codes.
Sydney Swans members will benefit from the partnership through a range of offers, while carsales will increase its brand visibility by leveraging key on-field branding assets such as LED and premium static signage at the SCG.
“We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with the Sydney Swans. Behind every successful sports team is passion, integrity and, of course, teamwork. Individual players may score the goals, but in sport and business it’s the collective effort of the team that really counts,” said Managing Director carsales Australia, Paul Barlow.
“The same team dynamics and culture that make the Swans a winning club are also fundamental for a thriving business. We’re excited to be with the Sydney Swans at each game and tap into AFL fans nationwide,” continued Barlow.
Off the field, the partnership will see carsales and Sydney Swans come together and connect their incredible breadth of talent.
“Our number one priority at carsales is our people. Sydney Swans has amazing players, leaders and team members – and we think there’s things we can learn and equally things we can contribute.
“We look forward to connecting our people throughout this partnership and engaging with our combined audiences and advocates,” said Barlow.
Sydney Swans CEO, Tom Harley, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome carsales, Australia’s best-known online automotive classifieds business, to our team.
“There’s a terrific alignment between the Sydney Swans and carsales as respected brands passionate about enhancing the experiences of our members and customers through innovation.
“We look forward to connecting our audiences and working together in the years ahead.”
carsales will appear at the first Sydney Swans home game of the 2023 AFL season, on Sunday March 26 at the SCG.
