The Sydney Swans have swept the coaches vote in Round 2 after a blistering 81-point victory against Hawthorn on Sunday.
The AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award saw co-captain and reigning Bob Skilton medallist Callum Mills poll a full 10 votes with young forward duo Joel Amartey and Logan McDonald collecting six and five votes respectively.
Mills proved to be unstoppable in the midfield with 28 disposals and was handy on the scoreboard too, booting two goals, while Amartey and McDonald joined forces to kick nine goals between them. 20-year old McDonald now ranks second for goals kicked by all players drafted in 2020 with 36 goals from his 26 games.
The Swans made it a clean sweep of the votes with Errol Gulden impressing with five votes (28 disposals), Ollie Florent with two votes (25 disposals) and the final two votes to co-captain Luke Parker for his 27 disposals and one goal.
