The Sydney Swans VFL side will be looking to bounce back this week after a narrow loss against Geelong in Round 15. Coach Damian Truslove has named his team ahead of a clash with Richmond which will take place at Punt Road tomorrow afternoon.
The red and white will be missing a strong defensive unit in Tom McCartin who returns to the AFL this week. In his place is Aaron Francis, who has enjoyed several rounds at the top level.
Matt Roberts will also re-enter the VFL with managed time as he recovers from injury.
Elsewhere, Ryan Clarke and Dylan Stephens will make the team particularly competitive across the ground and bring a wealth of experience. Mid-season draftees Jack Buller and Harrison Arnold will also provide height to the lineup.
Buller made his debut to the VFL side in Round 12 and impressed by kicking five goals in the Swans first win of the season.
This round will no doubt be a tough match however with Richmond sitting inside the top eight of the VFL ladder. Swans fans in Melbourne are encouraged to attend the game before heading to the AFL clash with Richmond at the MCG from 7:20pm
