Laura Gardiner, Aleisha Newman and Chloe Molloy featured in coaches votes this week after strong individual performances in Round 2. The Sydney Swans were defeated against a strong Geelong outfit, however the players shined in important moments.

Facing her former club, Gardiner rose to the challenge for Sydney landing nine tackles and a game high (and career high) 27 disposals against the Cats, earning six votes.

Newman who celebrated her 50th milestone game on Saturday earned one vote after kicking three goals.

Molloy also earned one vote finishing Round 2 with a goal and 22 disposals to her name.
