The Sydney Swans’ record of building and sustaining high performing teams speaks for itself, as one of Australia’s most successful sporting clubs over the past 25 years.  

The Sydney Swans Institute will offer a range of curated programs, corporate experiences, and team-building days. These will feature expert-led sessions, including keynotes and masterclasses from some of our most respected leaders, including CEO Tom Harley, Executive Director of Club Performance John Longmire, and Performance Mindset Coach Emma Murray.

Bringing together the expertise of our people to share learnings on leadership, culture, fitness, and high performance.

 Sydney Swans Chief Operating Officer Drew Arthurson said the goal of the Sydney Swans Institute is to share learnings in sustained high performance.

“Our team of experts is passionate about helping others do their life’s best work, and we’re doing that by sharing the learnings that come from being in the high-pressure environment of elite sport,” Arthurson said.

“The Sydney Swans Institute is the next step in formalising and expanding the leadership and development programs we've already been delivering to our network of individuals and organisations. In the past 18 months we’ve crafted tailored experiences for more than 240 organisations, all delivered at Sydney Swans HQ – the home of high performance.”

Sharing lessons in sustained high performance

The Sydney Swans Institute offers four core programs:

  • Leading for High Performance (in partnership with the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW)
  • Trademark Series (focused on helping organisations develop a unifying game plan)
  • Emerging Leaders (designed to empower participants to elevate their careers)
  • CORE (a corporate health and wellness program, in partnership with 98 Gym)

In addition to our flagship programs, the Sydney Swans Institute offers curated corporate offsites and team-building days at our HQ. Organisations can select from a variety of keynotes and masterclasses, covering topics such as Coaching & Feedback, Dealing with Adversity, Succession Planning, and Building & Sustaining a High-Performance Culture.
