Our AFLW team return to Sydney this week and we will play our first game at Henson Park for the 2023 season.
The Round 4 match-up is set to be a fierce contest with the the Swans looking for their second victory of the season (after a historic Round 1 victory over GWS) and their opponent, West Coast, yet to register a win after losses to Fremantle, Carlton and Gold Coast in the opening three rounds.
This Sunday's match is the the first of three Swans matches at the inner-west ground for 2023 with additional fixtures on Saturday October 14 (v Hawthorn) and Sunday October 29 (v Collingwood).
The match is also marked as a celebration of the Irish community in Sydney with the Swans side having a strong Irish flavour. Players Julie O’Sullivan, Tanya Kennedy, Paris McCarthy, and Jennifer Higgins, along with a contingent of AFLW staff members including former AFL player Colin O'Riordan who is an Assistant Coach of the AFLW side.
There will be plenty for Swans members and fans to do to soak up the atmosphere at Henson Park in the QBE Fan Zone with face painting and chill out zone on the hill for all to enjoy, Bing Lee’s 360 Instagram camera, Furphy’s Boundary Bar and Macca's Kick2Kick post-game.
The Sydney Swans have partnered with locals, Music and Booze Co to bring a taste of the Inner West to the AFLW. Food trucks include, Happy As Larry (Pizza), Lambda (Greek), Knuckles 2 You (German Pork), Ryans Gozleme and Dippin Dots Ice cream.
Indulge in spring delights with Official Wine of the Syndey Swans Bird in Hand Wines, Aperol Spritz, the Casamigos Margarita Van and Young Henrys Noble Cut Gin. Brewers include Official Beer of the Sydney Swans Furphy, Grifter, Hawkes, Willie the Boatman, Young Henrys, Batch, Wayward and Freshwater Brewing.

In Round 4 we are also supporting Addi Road and asking our members and fans to donate canned goods to our collection points at the Sydenham and Woodland gates to assist families put food on the table.
