The Sydney Swans are pleased to welcome Taylor Adams to the club to continue his career from 2024.
The experienced midfielder joins the red and white after ten seasons with Collingwood, where he was named the club’s best and fairest and selected in the All-Australian team in 2020.
Originally drafted by the Giants with Pick 13 in the 2011 National Draft, Adams has gone onto play 206 games, featuring in five finals campaigns including a Grand Final appearance in 2018 that saw him voted runner-up in the Norm Smith Medal voting.
Sydney Swans Executive GM, Football, Charlie Gardiner said the club is thrilled to have Adams on board.
“Taylor brings a wealth of experience both on and off the field, and will be a great addition to our team,” said Gardiner.
“He is an elite midfielder and an outstanding leader, and we believe hisexperience will not only help us win games but provide support for our developing young midfield. We are looking forward to welcoming him to the club.”
“We thank the Collingwood Football Club for working with us to facilitate a trade,” Gardiner said.
The Swans secured Adams in exchange for selection 33 in the 2023 NAB AFL Draft.
