We are set to host the Brisbane Lions at Blacktown International Sportspark in our first official pre-season fixture ahead of the commencement of our 2024 campaign. 

This AFL Community Series Match will be the first opportunity to see the red and white in action ahead of Opening Night, and in great news for Swans members and fans, all members and kids will be able to attend the match for free.

For those that can't make it to the game, it will also be broadcast live on Fox Footy and KAYO.

Inside Sydney - Episode One: New Recruits

Take a look inside the Sydney Swans pre-season, in episode one of Inside Sydney

All 18 clubs will participate in an AFL Community Series Match to be played between 27 February and 3 March at venues across the country and all members and kids will be able to attend the matches for free.

AFL Community Series Matches will take on the following format:

  • Four quarters of 20 mins plus time on (as per AFL Premiership Season)​
  • Squad of 30 players, eight interchange and four Emergencies.  Minimum of four players on the Interchange Bench during the match at any time.
  • No interchange Cap.​
  • Full panel of umpires appointed by the AFL​.
