Isaac Heeney meeting a young Swans fan the last time Sydney visited Coffs Harbour for a pre-season camp in 2019.

Hey Coffs Harbour – we’re coming to visit!

The Sydney Swans men’s team is heading to Coffs Harbour from January 28-31 for a pre-season training and community camp.

The local Coffs Harbour community can get involved, with a kid’s clinic and signing session at C.ex. International Stadium for young boys and girls. Mark Monday, January 29 in your calendar now with more details to come closer to the date.

While in Coffs Harbour the team will take part in community and leadership activities, as well as hold a match practice session as part of preparations for the upcoming season.

Sydney Swans Executive GM Football – AFL, Leon Cameron, has thanked the City of Coffs Harbour for its support in getting the team to the region.

“We are so very fortunate to have some wonderful colleagues at the City of Coffs Harbour who have helped us bring this to life. Pre-season camps are a great chance for our team to bond and learn in a different environment, and I couldn’t think of a better place for us to be heading than Coffs Harbour,” Cameron said.

“Our club has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the Coffs Harbour community, having held numerous pre-season and community camps in the region over many years.

“While our women’s team were in Coffs Harbour earlier this year and our QBE Swans Academy there for the Super 24 Series, our men’s team hasn’t been there as a group since 2019 due to restrictions through the pandemic. This is a terrific chance for us to get back to what we know is a sport-loving community, and we’re really looking forward to it.”

The Swans open the show for the 2024 AFL season on Opening Night at the SCG on Thursday, March 7, in a game that will mark the club’s 150th birthday celebration in Sydney. For best access to this unmissable match make sure you’ve renewed your membership.
