LAST WEEK’S NEWS

Last week saw a fast finishing Sydney Swans chase down the Bombers in a thriller. The come- back was inspired by Luke Parker (MID, $588,000) who scored 111 from 35 disposals before receiving a hard knock and leaving the field. To that point, Parker was simply on fire and to score 111 in just 63 per cent game time is incredible. We all hope he has a speedy recovery and is back to face the Power next week.

Kieren Jack (MID, $564,000) was one of those who stepped-up in the absence of Parker with 104 as did Dane Rampe (DEF, $385,000) with 78. Rampe is a mid-priced defender who looks set to take the next step this season and could potentially average 80+.

ON THE RADAR

He comes with a hefty price tag but as all saw on the weekend with his 92pts, Isaac Heeney (MID, $269,000) can play. He’s easily in the Swans’ best 22 and although he rose $23,000 in price this week, he is only going to continue to rise and score at a very solid rate.

WHAT’S COMING UP

Next week, the Swans meet a pumped up Power who only just went down to Fremantle in round one. Despite the loss, they had some massive scorers with Ebert (163), Wines (131) and Gray (122) leading the way. Sydney will need to bring their ‘A-Game’ this week to restrict the scoring of these inform Fantasy players.
