Colless, who will step down from the top job in February next year, joined the Sydney Swans Cheer Squad for the match and even took a turn shaking one of the Swans’ giant red and white floggers behind the goals.
The Swans Cheer Squad showed their appreciation for Colless’s two decade tenure at the club, presenting the Chairman with a signed Sydney Swans Cheer Squad banner.
Colless also farewelled the club’s Melbourne-based Cheer Squad when he joined the group behind the goals at Etihad Stadium in the Swans’ round 19 win over the Western Bulldogs.
