Pride Game

The Sydney Swans are bound for Melbourne in Round 17 for Pride Game with St Kilda at Marvel Stadium. Our eighth annual Pride Game will kick off at 3:20pm this Sunday.

The first Pride Game took place in the 2015 preseason against Fremantle. Round 21, 2016 was the first official in-season Pride Game for premiership points. Since then, the annual clash is a crucial part of our club culture and mission to celebrate diversity and inclusivity within our great game.

Heading to the game? Check out the Match Day Hub for everything you need to know or tune in via Channel 7, Fox Footy or Kayo.

AFLW Community Camp

Our AFLW squad are headed to Newcastle this weekend for their annual pre-season community camp - an opportunity to bond with fellow teammates and share their love of footy with fans.

Two sessions will take place for young girls to take the field with no experience required. Mark your calendar and register here to join in all the fun.

It's not too early to become a member. Join the Sydney Swans with an AFLW membership today and gain access to EVERY home game this season.

Longmire reflects on Round 16

John Longmire spoke in a press conference on Tuesday, July 2 after our one-point loss to Fremantle in Round 16. He said:

“We went away from a few of the things that we value. Obviously one of those being we wanted more pressure on the game in the first quarter than what we did.”

Longmire added that his side will look to bring last week's learnings into Round 17, particularly on clearance and consistency.

“The consistency that we've been having up until now, we just dropped off a little bit on that.”
