The Sydney Swans VFL side have held off a fast-finishing Sandringham Zebras outfit to claim a 11.9.75 to 10.8.68 victory in Round 15 of the competition.

Sydney talls Aaron Francis and Joel Hamling starred in the seven-point victory and led the way for the side, as the red and white went on to claim their sixth win of the season.

The Swans led at every quarter break, with the lead changing hands twice in the opening two terms, however the side had control on the scoreboard for the majority of the game, building plenty of pressure through their tackling pressure throughout the contest.

Francis led the Swans with 26 disposals, 20 of them kicks, and he also had 12 marks in a dominant display.

Youngsters Jaiden Magor (22 disposals) and Cooper Vickery (20) also had plenty of the ball, while Sam Reid kicked his first goal since returning from injury to go with 15 disposals and six marks.

Young forward Jacob Konstanty had six tackles up forward, a game high.
