See the latest injury update with news on Sydney Swans small forward Jesse Dattoli, presented by Castlereagh Imaging.
Sydney Swans draftee Jesse Dattoli has been sidelined with a lumbar stress reaction in his lower back and is likely to miss a minimum of four months of football.
Dattoli will not run for six weeks while he recovers and will undergo rehabilitation immediately.
Sydney Swans Head of Physiotherapy and Medical Services, Damian Raper, said Dattoli will have to take some time off training.
“Jesse reported some low-grade back pain earlier this week and scans have revealed he has developed a stress injury in his lower back,” Raper said.
“He will have a break over Christmas before commencing off legs strength and conditioning work in the New Year.”
