Swans travel to WA

Sydney will embark on its first away trip of the 2025 season this weekend and will travel to Perth for a Sunday afternoon clash with the Dockers.

Speaking to SEN WA Breakfast with Simmo and Goss on Monday, Senior coach Dean Cox emphasised the importance of the midfield in this weekend's clash.

"They are the decisions we continue to have, who do we go to and what does our midfield dynamic look like, so those are the conversations we always have," he said.

"We understand that both of those players (Caleb Serong and Angus Brayshaw) are very dangerous for Fremantle as well as Hayden Young when he plays and the like.

"They have a very strong midfield group and we expect them to come out and play the footy they've shown over a number of years."

Open training at Optus Stadium on Saturday

Swans fans living in Perth or traveling over for the match will have the chance to see the squad in action at Open training on Saturday, March 22.

Watch the players go through their final preparations and grab a signature or a selfie at the end of the session.

Training will run from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at Optus Stadium, enter via gate D.

Injury Update

The Swans have added another addition to their growing injury list, with defender Lewis Melican expected to miss 2-3 matches with an adductor strain he sustained in the fourth quarter of Saturday's clash with Brisbane.

In positive news, forward Logan McDonald is completing full football training sessions and additional conditioning-based running after team training as he progresses toward a return to football after the Round 3 bye.

Captain Callum Mills continues to progress in his rehabilitation and is building his running volume this week. He will look to progress his speed and agility next week as a part of his rehabilitation throughout our bye week.
