Sydney Swans forward Kurt Tippett's pack mark in the early stages of the second quarter of Sunday's win over Richmond is one of the round 18 nominations for the 2013 Mark of the Year.

After Ryan O'Keefe found some space tight on the boundary and bombed the ball inside forward, Tippett was able to find front position after out-jostling his opponent, Troy Chaplin. With team mate Jesse White also flying for the mark, Tippett was able to maneuver his body to protect the drop of the ball, take a skilful mark, and convert the goal.

Tippett's up against Geelong high-flyer James Podsiadly, who has the other two nominations this week.
