Superstar forward Lance Franklin and key defender Dane Rampe have both been named in AFL.com.au’s Round 20 Team of the Week after starring in Saturday’s win over Collingwood.
Franklin booted six goals to help Sydney clinch a thrilling two-point win at the SCG, his biggest haul since a bag of eight against West Coast in Round 1.
The four-time Coleman Medallist also collected 17 possessions, nine marks and six tackles in a performance that earned him a perfect 10 AFL Coaches’ Association votes.
Rampe complemented a Swans-high 28 disposals with 11 marks.
Franklin lines up at full-forward alongside Hawthorn’s Jack Gunston and Port Adelaide’s Robbie Gray, while Rampe joins Richmond’s Alex Rance and Melbourne’s Christian Salem in the last line of defence.
