Three Sydney Swans paid a special visit to Taronga Zoo on Thursday.
Players Callum Mills and Dan Robinson, together with assistant coach Brett Kirk, joined in the fun of Taronga’s Dream Night.
The night gives children with special needs or serious health issues the opportunity to share a unique program where they can feel like VIP guests.
The Zoo opened just for them from 5.30pm to 8.30pm and provided a range of amazing experiences and activities including animal encounters, bird and seal shows, giraffe feeding and sky safari rides.
Kirk, who has been participating in Dream Night for a number of years, says it’s a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community.
“We are really proud to be a part of Taronga Zoo’s Dream Night. Having the zoo open its doors for families that are going through tough and challenging times is awesome,” Kirk said.
“What a great opportunity for those families to enjoy themselves, and if we can help by putting a few smiles on faces, that is the least we can do.”
