Brett Kirk says he has always had an emotional connection with the Sydney Swans, even after retiring and venturing west as an assistant coach at Fremantle.
Kirk, who returned home late last year, has been a welcomed addition to the Sydney Swans' coaching panel this season, taking the helm as forwards coach.
