The Sydney Swans will kick off their NEAFL season against the Brisbane Lions on Saturday April 1 following the release of the 2017 fixture.
Six matches are set to go ahead at the SCG in 2017 giving fans a great chance to see the emerging talent on display.
NEAFL Coach Rhyce Shaw said his side was looking forward to returning to the field in 2017.
"It was great to see how many young players got the chance at senior level last season after strong form in the NEAFL side," Shaw said.
"After seeing the younger guys return to training in the last couple of weeks I'm looking forward to seeing their progress throughout the 2017 season."
"I learnt a lot during my first season as coach of the NEAFL side and am excited about seeing how far we can go next year."
