The North East Australian Football League has released its’ Official NEAFL App for the 2015 season making it easier to keep up to date on the progress of the Swans reserves side.

Fans are encouraged to search for “Official NEAFL” in App stores to download the Official NEAFL App.

There will be the ability to track live scores, stats, ladders and results as well as club and player profiles, selected weekly teams and the latest news.

Player leaderboards, including goals, disposals, marks, tackles and dream team points, and the MVP voting can also be accessed on the App.

Fans will never miss their favourite team in action with the ability to set reminders and watch live streams on NEAFL TV.

AFL National Second Tier Manager, Simon Laughton, said the App marks an exciting new era in the competition ahead of Round 1 on April 11.

“This App will allows fans to engage with the NEAFL competition to a level they have never experienced before,” he said.

“We are excited to add a new dimension to the league’s digital presence, which brings together teams from across two states and two territories.

“We encourage all fans to utilise the App whilst at games, or watching live streams of their favourite teams interstate to keep track of the new-look competition.

“With the league reduced to 11 teams and all teams playing each other once for the first time, there is plenty to look forward to in 2015.”

The release of the new and improved NEAFL App is part of the competition’s continued social media expansion ahead of a much-anticipated new season, featuring a reduced amount of teams and the re-introduction of the unique 23rd Player Rule.
