The Sydney Swans today visited more than 35 schools across Sydney, from Hornsby in the north to Heathcote in the South as part of the AFL NSW, Sydney Swans School Blitz.
The players talked to students about their footy experiences and encouraged them to get involved with their local clubs as well as cheer them on this season.
Harry Cunningham was just one Swan who proved popular, meeting students at Petersham Public School, Ferncourt Public School and Tempe Public School and he told of the importance of visiting the schools in the local area.
"It's good to get back out in the community and spread the word about the AFL and the Swans."
"I don't know if I am (king of the kids), I think that title went to Dane Rampe today!"
It was great to see so many students excited about football and if any boys or girls would like to play footy in 2018, visit play.afl for more information.
