The Sydney Swans hit the track for training on Tuesday with just five days until the re-start of their 2020 campaign against Essendon at the SCG.
The players will return to the SCG for the first time this season when the shortened 17 match season resumes on Sunday.
It was just the second last full contact hit out for the side ahead of a return to playing with a number of stars showing strong form and fitness on the track including co-captains Josh Kennedy and Luke Parker along with versatile forward Isaac Heeney.
Coach John Longmire said it was exciting to get going again in season 2020.
"It is exciting for the players, for the staff and for the fans to be able to see the football start again this week," Longmire said.
"Everyone is excited for the season to start again, it has been a short build up and the players are really looking forward to it."
"We are looking forward to it but know that we will have to be prepared."
