Another 10-vote performance from co-captain Kieren Jack in the Sydney Swans’ 47-point win over Richmond, has seen the 26-year-old move to within five votes of Gary Ablett in the race for the AFL Coaches Association Player of the Year Award.

Jack received the maximum amount of votes from coaches John Longmire and Damien Hardwick for his 26-disposal performance at the SCG on Sunday, which also included 827 metres gained, ten tackles, nine inside 50s and two goals.

Craig Bird (20 disposal, seven inside 50s, four clearances on Richmond’s Brett Deledio), Shane Mumford (29 hit-outs, 19 disposals, seven clearances) and Jesse White (14 possessions, five marks inside 50 and four goals) shared the spoils as the next best Swans in the voting, all claiming four votes for their respective games.

Ryan O’Keefe (three votes), Jarrad McVeigh (one) and Tom Mitchell (one) were the other Swans players to register votes in the four-quarter performance, while Richmond’s Dustin Martin (three) was the sole Tiger to catch the coaches’ eye.
