Jade’s recruiting excellence has earned her the complete AFL Grand Final experience for two, including return airfares, two nights’ accommodation in Melbourne and tickets to the 2013 Grand Final.
Jade recruited a record 35 members, to narrowly take out the Nominate Your Mate honour ahead of last year’s winner Charles Kavalec, who recruited an impressive 33 members for the 2013 season.
Speaking to sydneyswans.com.au about her Nominate Your Mate success, Bolton said she was thrilled to have taken out the competition in 2013.
“I’m extremely excited,” Bolton said.
“It’s been pretty tough to try and stay on top, but I’m really excited and it was worth all the nagging of my friends.
“Initially it was easy with friends jumping on the whole premiership bandwagon, and then towards the end trying to get the last few stragglers was the bargain of the three-game membership.”
With 35 friends as new Sydney Swans members for the 2013 season, Jade said she has no shortage of mates to sit alongside at home games this season.
“I’m really lucky because I’ve actually managed to be sitting with 13 of us all together,” she said.
“Then there is obviously a group of others as well who are in the unreserved area, but I really do have people to meet up with before and after the games.”
But it will be her boyfriend Danny who will claim the second ticket to the Grand Final as a reward for his help in recruiting Jade’s record 35 members.
“I’ll be taking my boyfriend. He helped a lot with getting all of his friends on board, so he deserves it.”
