Can you hum? Please say you can hum!

I’ll admit, I’m a little nervous writing for the Swans' technological cyber hub.

Note to you… I’m humming a tune.

What tune?

I’m humming the theme song to that classic TV series The Love Boat. I know, now you’re wondering why I’m humming or you could be wondering why I’m allowed to be writing. I should be writing something about football, right? And writing about Sydney Swans football at that.

I’m humming because when I was thinking, ‘what on this red and white earth will I write about?', that theme song instantly twanged between my ears.

I might be nervous, but I’m excited too. Excited that footy’s back. It may not be back on the TV just yet, but the Swannies are back and take it from me - my husband has been falling asleep at the dinner table! Which means the boys are slogging it out in order to have a fair-dinkum-good-old-fashioned-crack at the 2010 silverware.

There are some new faces weaved in with the familiar ones amongst our bevy of Swans this season, and then there’s the fantastic dash of the Irish returning to the harbour city.

So come with me and hum with me, won’t you? ‘Swans… they’re exciting and new, come aboard - we’re expecting you!’

The Swans in 2010... woo-hoo!
