Everyone has their breaking point - especially AFL coaches.

Sitting up in the box, coaches are helpless when one of their players misses a crucial goal, kicks the ball out on the full or gives away a free kick at a vital time.

But just because they are helpless doesn’t mean they are speechless.

Strong words are exchanged, voices are raised and in some cases even black board dusters are casualties of a coach’s spray.

SwansTV spoke to a number of Sydney players about the best - or worst - spray they have ever received from a coach.

Jarrad McVeigh and Tony Armstrong recall some pretty impressive sprays from their respective coaches, and Swans recuit Mitch Morton says a certain spray from the colourful Terry Wallace is one he’ll never forget.

“I just said, ‘Look, there’s no excuse, I obviously just wasn’t thinking’,” Morton said.

“And (Wallace) said ‘Wasn’t thinking? You just cost me my career!”
