The Sydney Swans reserves will face Queanbeyan in Sunday afternoon’s Eastern Conference Grand Final after the Tigers overcame Eastlake by 28 points in last Saturday’s preliminary final.

After having last weekend off, the Swans reserves will travel to Canberra’s Manuka Oval for Sunday’s Conference decider, with the first bounce at 2.15pm AEST.

The Swans advanced directly to the Grand Final after beating Queanbeyan by 55 points at Manuka on September 1. The Swans also defeated Queanbeyan by 41 points in round 11 at Dairy Farmers.

Sunday will be the second consecutive time that the Swans reserves have contested the Eastern Conference Grand Final, after they were defeated by 52 points at the hands of Ainslie in last year’s decider.

The winner of the Eastern Conference Grand Final will advance to face the winner of the Northern Conference Grand Final - either the Brisbane Lions reserves or NT Thunder - in the NEAFL Championship on the weekend of September 22/23.

The NEAFL Eastern Conference Grand Final will be streamed live on www.neafl.com.au.
