SYDNEY Swans utility Lewis Roberts-Thomson has been given a medical all-clear after his concussion against West Coast but is still in doubt for the Swans' clash with St Kilda on Sunday.

Roberts-Thomson was taken from the ground in the second quarter of Sunday's game in Perth and was taken to hospital after a collision with Eagle Jacob Brennan.

The end result was good news for the 28-year-old big man, who suffered a couple of other head knocks and a fractured cheekbone earlier in the season.

"He had scans last night in Perth and everything was clear," Swans coach John Longmire told reporters on Monday.

"He caught the flight home last night. He was a bit sore on the plane coming home.

"I haven't seen him this morning but I'm sure he'll be fine."

Asked about Roberts-Thomson's availability for this weekend, Longmire said "not sure yet, the doctor will make the decision later on in the week."

The Swans suffered no other injuries in the 52-point win.

Longmire said young midfielder Luke Parker was very close to forcing his way back into the team after missing five games with a broken collarbone.

"We're keen to get him back into the team, we consider him a really good player for us when he's at this best, so that will be something we have too make a decision on," Longmire said.

"We think he's a player that can really add to our team. it's just a matter of when we think is the right time to bring him in.

"To the players credit in the 22 at the moment, they have been playing pretty consistent footy at the moment, so that's a challenge for us as to where we put him."

While happy with the win in Perth, Longmire wasn't reading too much into the result given the Eagles were without several injured players.
