Sydney Swans ruckman Tom Hickey has been rewarded with the full 10 votes for the AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award following Saturday’s Round 7 victory over Geelong.
In a surprising return from injury, Hickey played a key role in the victory, finishing the clash with 23 hit outs, 20 disposals, 10 clearances and one goal.
Ollie Florent, Tom McCartin and Hayden McLean also polled votes in the clash.
