Sydney Swans defenders Dane Rampe, Jake Lloyd and ruckman Tom Hickey have polled votes for the AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award following the side’s Round 12 victory over St Kilda at the SCG.
Co-captain Rampe and defender Jake Lloyd both polled four votes from the clash whilst ruckman Tom Hickey claimed three votes in the 9-point victory.
Rampe was instrumental in defence, finishing with 16 disposals and three tackles. Jake Lloyd was busy throughout the clash, finishing with a team high 27 disposals and three tackles. In Hickey’s return from injury, he finished with 21 disposals, 16 hit outs and 1 tackle.
