Sydney Swans forward Joel Amartey has earnt himself an AFL Round 17 Goal of the Year nomination following his quick reflexes to score on the stroke of half time in Sydney’s 19-point victory over the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.
The Swans forward, who kicked his lone goal of the game and his fifth of the season, has been nominated for his effort from Sunday’s Round 17 clash.
Amartey has been nominated this week alongside Melbourne’s Tom McDonald and Port Adelaide’s Trent McKenzie.
