Sydney Swans co-captain Callum Mills has extended his lead in this year's Carey Bunton Medal count while Nick Blakey polled six votes to move his way up the ladder.
Following Sydney's 33-point victory over the Adelaide Crows, Mills polled one vote following his 27 disposals, 1 goal, 6 tackle performance. His lead is now 12 votes ahead of Adelaide Crows' full-forward Taylor Walker who sits in second on 44 votes following Round 19.
Blakey had an outstanding game with his electrifying run-and-carry out of defence to claim six votes for the Carey Bunton medal for the best NSW player int he AFL based on the AFL Coaches Association voting for the champion player in the AFL this season.
Blakey finished 26 disposals, two tackles, eight intercepts, 5 inside-50s and five scoring involvements including a sensational specky as he climbed above the opposition to take a great grab.
