The Sydney Swans will face the Casey Demons in a Qualifying Final in the VFL Finals Series this Saturday, August 27.

After a dominant 57-point thrashing of the Hawks at Box Hill City Oval in Round 22, the Swans finish the 2022 regular season in fourth place with 13 wins from 18 games this season.

To thank football fans for their outstanding support throughout the 2022 season, the AFL announced that entry to all matches in Week One of the 2022 VFL Finals Series is free.

Ticket prices in Weeks Two and Three of the 2022 VFL Finals Series will remain at 2019 prices. For ticketed matches admission prices will be adults $15, concession/pensioners $10 and children under 15 free. For the 2022 VFL Grand Final, admission prices will be adults $20, concession/pensioners $15 and children under 15 free.

All finals, including the VFL Grand Final, will be streamed live and free on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App.

Matt Roberts finished with a game-high 37 disposals and 10 clearances in the Swans' 57-point thrashing of the Hawks at Box Hill City Oval.

James Bell was dynamic, recording 27 possessions and kicking two goals, while talented big man Joel Amartey booted four goals from 16 touches and won 14 hitouts.

Hayden McLean and Ben Ronke both booted three goals.

Ruck Peter Ladhams (16 disposals, one goal, 18 hitouts) had a busy afternoon.
