We’re excited to reveal the numbers our newest recruits will wear in season 2017.
First round draft pick Oliver Florent will wear number 13, a number he wore throughout his junior football.
Taken with pick 21 in the AFL National Draft, Will Hayward will don number 9 next season, previously made famous by premiership hero Nick Malceski.
Western Australian ruckman Darcy Cameron will wear number 17 and Jack Maibaum will take over number 21 from retiring small forward Ben McGlynn.
Rookie Shaun Edwards will continue to wear number 19, as he did at his previous club Essendon, a number made famous by Swans Hall of Famer Michael O’Loughlin.
Ben Ronke will don the number 25, previously worn by retiring premiership defender Ted Richards.
New draftees Robbie Fox (No. 42), Sam Fisher (No. 45) and Toby Pink (No. 47) round out the list.
Meanwhile Swans young gun Jordan Foote has been elevated from the rookie list onto the senior list and has seen an elevation in his number also, moving to jumper number 6.
The number 6 guernsey was previously worn by champion defenders Craig Bolton and Andrew Dunkley.
Jumper No. 37, worn by Adam Goodes, will remain unallocated.
