Midfielder Josh Kennedy may have been overlooked by the All Australian selectors on Tuesday evening but he has been voted by our fans as the Most Valuable Player of 2015.

Kennedy finished on top of the voting ahead of Dan Hannebery and Luke Parker in the Fans MVP proudly presented by QBE.

Votes for the award are cast by users to sydneyswans.com.au following the conclusion of each week’s match throughout the season.

It was a remarkable season from the 27-year-old recording a career high 30.5 disposals per game from his 24 matches.

Kennedy finished third in the AFL Coaches Association Award behind Nat Fyfe and Hannebery who took out the award.

Rounding out the top five vote getters were Tom Mitchell and Lance Franklin despite missing a handful of matches at senior level throughout the season.

Kenedy finished the season as the leading clearance winner in the competition as well as being number one for contested possessions in the competition.

Thanks to all of our fans for taking part in the competition throughout the season.
