As well as the 2013 finals series, the Sydney Swans are also in contention to take out this year’s Virgin Australia Film Festival.

As the Official Airline of the AFL, Virgin Australia are offering the chance for three clubs to receive 30 return from Australia to Los Angeles, USA, as the winners of the Virgin Australia Film Festival.

The concept – open exclusively to all AFL clubs – rewards the clubs who are able to generate the most social media engagement around their entry videos which are based on the themed of going the ‘Extra Mile’.

The Sydney Swans entry tracks Gary Rohan and the efforts he went through to go the extra mile to get back from the broken leg he suffered in 2011 – but be warned, all the recovery techniques may not be as they seem or endorsed by the medical team.
