A host of Sydney Swans players are set to battle it out for the revered Bob Skilton Medal as the 2020 Club Champion next Thursday.
In a change from tradition the event will be held at the SCG and streamed through the Sydney Swans website and mobile app.
Despite missing the final six matches of the season will it be back to back for co-captain Dane Rampe?
Has Tom Papley done enough to take out his first ever Skilton Medal?
Will Luke Parker’s midfield dominance see him take home the award for a third time? Or Jake Lloyd for a second time?
Over the next two days we will look into some of the top contenders for the 2020 Bob Skilton Medal.
Dane Rampe
The Sydney Swans co-captain showed his class again as an elite defender in the competition during the 2020 season. Rampe broke his hand mid-way through the season but played on with the injury, a feat that saw him win the Robert Rose Most Courageous Award at the AFLPA awards. Did miss the final six matches of the season but could he poll enough votes early in the season to take out back-to-back Bob Skilton Medals?

Tom Papley
A blistering start to the season for Papley saw him kick 19 goals in the first eight rounds of the season to be the early leader in the Coleman Medal race. Was named in the All-Australian squad for the first time in 2020 despite not making the final team. Recognised across the league as one of the best small forwards in the game Papley once again provided pressure in the forward line and presented plenty of scoring opportunities for the side. Could he be crowned with his first Bob Skilton Medal?

Parker led from the front for much of the season with injuries to both Rampe and Josh Kennedy throughout.
